Thanks for joining us here at First Baptist Church, North East! We are excited that you are considering visiting us. By joining us you will get to know us a little better: who we are, what we believe and our hope for you. Maybe you would consider yourself a follower of Christ or maybe you’re new to the idea of church and God, and you’re still trying to decide how these things might fit into your life. No matter who you are, we’re glad you’re here.
We are a church with the mission to know, grow, and show Christ in all we do. Each week, we focus on creating a worship environment that lines up with our mission and is inviting to first-time guests. Here is some helpful information to make your visit more enjoyable.
We have greeters that are located by the main door of the church. They are there to assist you and answer any questions that you may have.
Come dressed in whatever is comfortable for you. Most of the people here will dress in casual attire but some people like to dress up and that’s fine too. We don’t get distracted by how you are dressed and we don’t want you to be either.
If you have children 5th grade and under, please see one of our friendly team members. They will help you get your children where they need to go.
We have several Sunday School Classes that meet at 9:30 AM that you are welcome to join (To find a group that is right for you click here), and church starts at 10:30. Please feel free to grab a cup of coffee between the end of Sunday School, (approximately 10:15) and the start of the Church service at 10:30. After church, you are welcome to stay and fellowship at the coffee bar.
Our service is focused on moving you into a deeper relationship with God. This happens through corporate worship, giving, and Bible teaching. We plan our services to prompt you to take your next step in your journey of faith.
The office is open Tuesday – Friday 9-4.
